Our transportation services are available for local and regional trips to non-emergency medical appointments, such as dental exams or dialysis procedures, along with non-medical activities such as weddings, holiday gatherings, recreational events or shopping.

Sanford Ambulance at Events

Sanford Ambulance provides these displays and demonstrations for special events:

• Deutscher Display.In 2012, the Deutscher family was killed in an alcohol-related crash. Their relatives donated the crashed vehicle to show the true costs of impaired driving. Before requesting this display,read our checklist.
• Rollover Simulator Demonstrations.The Sanford Ambulance rollover simulator shows the importance of wearing seatbelts. Before requesting this simulator,read our checklist.

We also provide non-dedicated emergency coverage for community events. Our coverage depends on the location of the event and the availability of units. Dedicated EMS coverage for larger events is available upon request.

Community Paramedics

Community paramedics are trained in emergency medicine and also have specialized training in primary and preventive care.

We offer:

• Chronic disease management
• Emotional support
• Health assessments and education
• Medication management
• Referrals

Our community paramedics provide regular care and checkups to patients who have trouble traveling for their doctor’s appointments.
